Well, we are definitely into fall. We celebrated a fantastic Thanksgiving at the cottage with family and had great weather. It was fantastic. Although the pandemic continues and the fourth wave and Delta variant are a real concern, we had a great summer. Lots of golf, time at the cottage and fun with family and friends.
The website is all up to date. You can find the books I read in September, my book of the month, new wines and wine of the month. For the first time ever I have taken a wine off my list. Bread and Butter Cabernet Sauvignon was a wine that we initially really enjoyed and I am not sure if the wine changed or my taste changed but I definitely do not enjoy it now (our daughter Lauren also agrees so it is definitely off the list!). Still lots of great wines under $20 on the list.
You can find the article I posted in September on the Evolution of the Tattoo and my personal experience getting a tattoo. I also posted a link to the first article our son Sean got published. It was part of his masters' thesis and is certainly worth reading.
Exciting News! Teresa and I are travelling! We are off to southern California and Hawaii to visit family. I have posted an article on everything it took to get ready for our trip and I will post a new article weekly that will cover both how it is to travel during a pandemic and an update on the sights we see and things we do.
Enjoy the great fall weather. As always any questions or comments contact me at thethirdperiod.ca@gmail.com
